In 1990, the Ellis Island Immigration Museum opened on the island's north side. However, some thirty buildings on the south side remain un-restored. The interior of this room on the south side has a red color cast because of the reflected light from the adjacent terra cotta roof tiles. High Dynamic Range (HDR) image. Ellis Island, New York (US).
